Claudia Doroholschi received a Short Term Scientific Mission grant within COST Action IS1401 Strengthening Europeans’ Capabilities by Establishing the European Literacy Network (ELN) in order to visit Blanquerna – Ramon Llull University in Barcelona for a week and work with Dr Montserrat Castelló and her team on specific data analysis methods for visual and verbal data in writing studies.

The research stay in Barcelona was a great opportunity to work on data collected as a result of the networking undertaken within Working Group 2 of the COST Action IS1401 and receive excellent feedback from a very professional research team, who had a lot of previous expertise working with visual alongside verbal data.
